betty-moteBetty Mote is the daughter of the late John and Lora Sowell, the founders of Sowell's Home Supply, now Sowell's Furniture. She has been working at Sowell's for thirty-five years, but has been around the business her entire life. Betty's vibrant energy combined with her love and dedication to Sowell's has made her an incredible salesperson. Her main goal is to help her customers so they are making the right choices and getting the most for their budget. In 1996, she was recognized by the city of Searcy as the Business Woman of the Year. Betty continues to be involved with Sowell's, but because of Sowell's new sales and design team, she now enjoys more time off for family and travel.

nancy-hatfield2Nancy Hatfield, the younger daughter of the Sowell's, has also grown up in the family business. For over 30 years, Nancy has operated her own interior design business and is an ASID, Allied Member. She now partners with her sister, Betty, as co-owner of Sowell's. Along with managing Sowell's, Nancy continues to offer design consultation to customers with either their residential or commercial needs. Whether helping her customers find just the right furniture item, helping her clients decorate a room, or assisting in designing an entire house, she enjoys the process and is a master of keeping up with the details. Finishing a room and having a happy customer are the things that Nancy enjoys most about her job.

roxanneRoxanne Miles is the newest member of Sowell's Design/Sales team. A native of Searcy, Roxanne has worked as an office bookkeeper, a successful realtor and a Searcy Public School substitute teacher. Needless to say, she knows a lot of people and a lot of people know her! Roxanne has a gift of listening to her customers and guiding them to the perfect pieces to complete their home. Her contagious and outgoing personality, immediately make her customers feel at home at Sowell's and make them want to come back for their future furniture and decorating needs. Thank you, Roxanne, for representing Sowell's in such a fine manner!
